Barbara Abruzzo, RN, is a Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA) who provides healthcare advocacy and complex care management services. She provides medical decision support and helps you safely navigate the healthcare system to find the right, most appropriate care.

Barbara has advocated for clients with IBD for more than 25 years. Her very first client had IBS; Barbara helped him change his diet, find an expert functional medicine physician, and helped him adjust lifestyle factors to reduce stress – with great success. The scenario repeated over and over again with clients with IBD, IBS, GERD, Crohn's disease, colitis, and celiac disease.

Barbara is based in New York City but can deploy nurse navigation teams throughout the United States. They will consult in person, by phone, or via Zoom with clients worldwide providing guidance on any health issue across the lifespan.
